In Component 4 regional, national and European policies and financial issues and their impact upon the development of Brownfields at the local level will be analysed and compared. Objectives: highlight the elements that contribute to positive sustainable developments and contribute to the work of a partner practical project increasing awareness levels and understanding of the existing policy and financial framework and their impact on Brownfields influencing policy at a regional, national and European level Strategic Focus: Identifying the existing context and clarifying the conditions which support or impede Brownfield development. Activities: - organisation and implementation of at least 8 working group meetings (each partner is hosting at least one meeting)
- development of research template for partners to ensure standardisation of policy research/review activity
- terms of reference and commissioning of external expertise
- production of a research finding report
- development of a proposed blueprint to support Brownfield development
- development and implementation of a lobbying strategy in relation to the agreed sectors
- production of a review report
- identification of area policy change/emphasis
- preparation of expert findings report in relation to policy and intervention measure and potential for change
- production of final impact report
- posting expert's findings on website
- production of recommendation report
The working group of Component 4 is chaired by the partner from Stockholm.
