In Component 3 a website and a virtual Masterplanning concept will be outlined. Objectives: enhanced experience and capacity building development of new approaches to addressing Brownfield development effective dissemination of information and innovation through web based medium and illustrative material Strategic Focus: Developing the terminology for virtual master planning as a strategic management tool to assist the development of Brownfield sites and the exchange of information via website in a virtual environment. Activities: - organisation and implementation of at least 8 working group meetings (each partner is hosting at least one meeting)
- terms of references and appointment of an ICT consultant
- establishment of common standard for data exchange via website
- sourcing of expert support
- identification of themes for virtual masterplan concept
- establishing network website
- development of evaluation framework
- establishing discussion forum element of website
- dissemination of information, best practice and expertise
- establishment of database of experts on Brownfield development issues
- incorporation of results of other components in web content
- launch of public accessible virtual masterplan concept
- monitor use and feedback of website and expand linkages to other networks
- transfer of website maintenance
The working group of Component 3 is chaired by the Dublin partner.
