Network

Decision making at a strategic level will be provided through the establishment of a Network Management Team (NMT) to comprise of one representative from each partner. The NMT will oversee and manage the BERI project ensuring targets are met and results are disseminated. The NMT has 9 ordinary members (8 partners and the project manager) and meets about every 5/6th month, totally 8 meetings during the project. NMT is responsible for the overall coordination and monitoring of the project in content, activities and finances.

Network Structure

In order to secure the contents of components 2 - 5, four working groups have been formed, consisting of at least one representative from each partner

The work in the project is carried out in five components:

  • Component 1 is responsible for the management and coordination of the project and for ensuring a smooth implementation of all activities.
  • Component 2 deals with specific practical based case studies within the partner regions.
  • Component 3 will develop the website and a virtual Masterplanning concept.
  • Component 4 analysis the framework for existing development policies and financial mechanism and their impact on Brownfield development.
  • Component 5 produces guidance for holistic Brownfield development and promotes dissemination through seminars and symposiums.
